the Winter Sale wraps up this weekend, so if you want any last minute mega-bargains, don’t hang around.

Meantime, the shop is full of fantastic new merchandise, from our formal collection of Spring suits from SAND and WITHOUT PREJUDICE, in a fabulous range of fabrics and colours, with all shades of blue still prominent.

Formal shirts from DELSIENA and wonderful bright coloured block stripe ties from PROFUOMO complete a fresh and interesting formal look.

On the casual front , the new CERRUTI JEANS collection just arrived, and , as always, is full of great fabrics and subtle colours. Here again, navy, royal and sky blue are the main colours, with purple and red bringing bright colour to the range. Polo shirts and knitwear complement the new jean colours perfectly.

Other collections are arriving daily, like our glorious printed soft wash shirts from TINTORIA MATTEO .

With some winter weather still lurking, it makes sense to snap up some real bargains in the remaining weeks of the SALE.

Colours for Spring ’12 are very fresh , with loads of blue and white, and the subtle details in contrast fabrics.

Suits from SAND feature subtle navy self check, and lots of wool/mohair mixtures in Tonic colours. The profile stays slim, and the detail in linings and contrasts is ,as always, stunning.

as you might imagine, Christmas came early for me with the announcement of a new Bruce Springsteen album and tour in 2012. I’m hoping to get to most of the UK gigs and will no doubt see one or two of you somewhere along the way.

James Grant and Fraser Speirs were in top form at the Mugdock Festival, and also at the Spirit Aid gig last week at Oran Mor, where the Bluebells stole the night with a short but magnificent set of Lou Reed/ Velvet Underground covers. David Hayman does wonderful work for this Charity, and the gigs are always well put together.

Looking forward to Jesse Malin and Love and Money this next while, and Slow down for Horses are back at the Box on Sauchiehall St on the 8th December.
