but it still feels like February. Fortunately, business has been brisk on suits and jackets, and Spring outerwear has been selling really well.

We have some fantastic lightweight casual jackets from CERRUTI, POLBOT and BUGATTI, including this fabulous hip length in navy with removable hood from the CERRUTI collection.

It seems odd to be talking about T-Shirts and shorts given that the temperatures are struggling to get out of single figures, but the holiday season is now only 6 or 7 weeks away, so you really do need to start thinking ahead.

Suits have been very strong so far this season, with all shades of navy through to mid and light blues predominating. Our collections from both SAND and WITHOUT PREJUDICE are full of beautiful lightweight summer wool cloths in some really interesting styles. WITHOUT PREJUDICE features an amazing navy / white pinstripewith a plain navy edging detail and cloth covered buttons, which adds a stunning twist to a classic design, while SAND again has a wonderful range of Wool/ Mohair in a variety of great summer colours.

Jackets too are still very strong, and we have a great range of both lightweight wool and washed cotton. There is a really nice fine stripe cotton blazer from BUGATTI in a couple of lovely colours which sits brilliantly with a crisp white shirt and jeans for a really cool,classic look.

To complement our terrific tailoring collection, we have a brilliant range of formal shirts from DELSIENA of Italy. Stripes in navy/white, light blue/white and a great range of self colours including lilac, silver grey, pink and powder blue  in superb lightweight cotton are fantastic with the suit collection.

To finish the outfit, some brilliant bold striped ties and a pair of classic Loake shoes are hard to argue with.

we’re only seemingly taking the Christmas decorations down, and Easter is upon us, and it’s bringing some fantastic weather along for the ride.

As temperatures hit an unseasonal 23 degrees over the past few days, Polo Shirts have pushed Polo Necks to the back of our wardrobes,

and we are selling plenty. Featured colours are red, purple, coral, white and every shade of blue imagineable.

Elsewhere, we have had fantastic lightweight jackets  from WITHOUT PREJUDICE and POLBOT in navy , stone and charcoal, and some fabulous classic blouson from CERRUTI.

As the weather settles, our fabulous range of shirts in both long and short sleeves is expanding every day, with new deliveries form DELSIENA, TINTORIA MATTEO, 1 LIKE NO OTHER , SAND and WITHOUT PREJUDICE. Loads of fantastic prints have arrived, from the very subtle to the outlandish.

Suits continue to sell very well, and some new cloths from SAND, including this fantastic bi-colour in grey/blue  (below) catch the look and colours for 2012 perfectly. The slim profile and subtle contrast details, including pocket hankies in the same fabric as the suit lining, with contrast silks under the collar. The trouser style is slim with jet pockets to create an ultar-modern suit.

Colourful and vibrant , with loads of this years “must have” prints, the shirt range is extraordinary, featuring once again the fabulous “Limited Edition” collection from  1 Like no Other, and the consistently excellent Without Prejudice. Circle of Gentlemen is a new collection for us, featuring classic designs in beautiful fabrics, but with deeper, two and three button collars, and utilising the most incredible contrast trims.

As always, Sand and Delsiena collections are brim full of great design and colour, with print being prominent here too.

Elsewhere, our Cerruti Jeans Collection has arrived, and is a blaze of colour with reds , royals and purples in cotton knitwear and polo shirts.

The jean washes from Cerruti and Sand are varied and come in a variety of different weights, and we also are featuring a superb range of cotton jeans in some great colours.

The formal side is looking great too, with some brilliant suits and jackets from both SAND and WITHOUT PREJUDICE, again in a terrific range of designs and colours.

Complementing the suit range is a comprehensive range of DELSIENA business shirts , and colourful ties from PROFUOMO.

With Easter looming, there’s plenty to enhance a holiday wardrobe . HUGO BOSS t-shirts and swim shorts are vibrant and colourful,

and we again feature the UV Protection 50 cotton fabric in a range of t-shirt colours.

A slow start to 2012 for gigs, with the exception of a great Jonathan Wilson gig at the Arches. You have to see this guy.

Next up for me is Ryan Adams again at the O2. I’m taking my best pal to this one. He’s never seen Ryan before , so I expect him to convert to adulation pretty quickly. I’m also going to see Lightships, the side project of the great Gerry Love from Teenage Fanclub. Their debut album is a gorgeous summer record full of the kind of melodies Love has delivered with TFC over the years.

Also on the radar are James Grant and Bruce Springsteen, so the year is beginning to look healthy.
